Thesis Hotel Miami Coral Gables

I was invited to the thesis hotel by Wayne C Eldred and Julio Grisales. I am the owner and founder of the agency Lajes Corp. Being invited to this hotel was an absolute privilege. Me and my family stayed for the weekend and felt like we where at home and extremely relaxed. Ernesto attended us in the front desk and it was an absolute delight having him as the first impression. He had great customer care and was very polite. Julio Grisales took me and my family around the hotel. He showed us the lobby, pool area, ivy rooftop, gym and conference area. i was impressed by everything surrounding me. It was luxurious and very organized. For breakfast and dinner we went to the restaurant The Collab and enjoyed delicous meals.Yanina and Aarón were are servers for breakfast and their attitude and attention to us was spectacular. The food was all organic and tasted absolutely delicious. Dimitri was our server for dinner and the dishes on the menu were all so appetizing. For lunch we spent it at the ivy rooftop, the bar was great and view was out of this world. It felt resfreshing seeing all the real flowers as decoration. Everything was so well thought and put together. The pool area has many seating options and service there was fast and fantastic. Being in this hotel felt like a fantasy. The room had so much space and had everything you would need and more. It was an honor being invited to this hotel. Thank you so much for Wayne and Julio for inviting me and my family. It was an absolute pleasure and amazing opportunity. I would definitely recommend and appreciate the team for being so wonderful in my stay.

This place is kind of a contradiction. It looks like an upscale hotel, but the service says otherwise. I waited close to an hour just to check in. The guy at the front desk seemed miserable and made no effort to hide it. Another guest told me he’d already been trying to get to his room for over an hour. Not great. Something else to know: the hotel also serves as student housing for the University of Miami. If you end up stuck on a floor full of students (as I was), expect noise, music, doors slamming, people talking loudly in the halls. Mine didn’t quiet down until after 1 a.m. On the upside, the location is solid. Food was decent too. But if you’re hoping for a view, manage your expectations. Most rooms just look directly into the side of another building. Overall, it was fine, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay there again. There's potential, but the experience needs work.

I spent the whole weekend at thesis hotel. I was invited by the agency Lajes Corp. I was first attended by Julio and he showed me around the hotel lobby, ivy rooftop, gym, conference area, and the pool area. He was extremely helpful and nice. His attitude and presence was a delight. The atmosphere was incredible once I got to my room I felt so relaxed. Everything was organized and put together. I felt extremely comfortable and the room had everything I needed. I also went to the restaurant The Collab in the hotel and was attended by yanina. Her service was excellent she had amazing attitude and customer service. I had breakfast and dinner here and the food was absolutely fantastic. I had lunch in the pool area and it was all fast and efficient. It was honestly a luxurious and incredible experience. I will definitely be returning.

Overall, the hotel is beautiful and comfortable. My experience as a guest was that everyone working there was very nice, the room was great, and the drinks I had were good too. BUT be warned if you have to stay by the elevator. I was here on business at the law school, and I was kept up well into the night by screaming, literal screaming, right outside my room. I understand sorority recruitment was going on, but these were both male and female voices and I wish I had been placed further knowing I needed a good night's rest which is the number one thing I was paying for. The next night I got moved when I brought this up to the front desk. It was a nice gesture, but also a hassle and did not resolve the fact half my stay got pretty messed up. Then, even after confirming at check-in I paid all fees upon booking, I see in my credit card statement yesterday that some unexpected charge went through, so I called to ask what that was about. It turns out there was a miscommunication and that there is a destination fee charged each day. The fee is no problem, but the issue is the communication and that it came as a surprise. I would love to say I fully recommend this hotel, but for the value I got considering the horrible night's sleep the first night and then the surprise charges, I would not recommend if your goals are a restful night's sleep and a transparent bill. Maybe my experience can help you decide though based on your goals for your stay. I was reluctant to pay the steep price for the hotel each night, but it was the best option for walking to the school. It also looked nice and peaceful and like it would be worth it. In the future, I would likely opt for a different hotel where I can get a restful night's sleep unless the hotel responds to my email or reaches out to me and provides a gesture of a resolution so that I feel like everything was addressed. For now, I still give the hotel 4 stars because, like I said, it just depends on your hopes and desires for your stay.

The hotel had a lot going on while we were there - several large events, and unexpected flooding and systems issues. Ernest and team did a very nice job making our stay a positive experience when it could have very easily been a disaster. Great customer service overall. We would definitely stay here again.

I wanted to highlight that I made the reservation through Lajes Corp, which is an excellent agency, and Fernando at reception, Janina from Collab, and Julio Grisales are all excellent at their jobs. I had the most amazing weekend stay at The Thesis Hotel. I was invited by the agency Lajes Corp. From the moment I arrived, everything felt elevated and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were absolutely impeccable, beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after a long day. One of my favorite parts was spending time at the rooftop and the pool. The atmosphere was incredible, with such a great vibe and views that made the whole experience feel like a little escape without leaving the city. I also had dinner, brunch, and breakfast at The Collab, and every meal was amazing. The food was delicious, the presentation was great, and the service made the experience even better. I had brunch with Yanina as my server she was absolutely so kind and helpful. Overall, it was the perfect weekend getaway. Between the stunning rooms, rooftop pool, and incredible dining at The Collab, everything exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to come back!

I was invited by Lajes Corp I ate at the restaurant The Collab at the hotel and it was a luxury. Dimitri was our server and she was absolutely delightful. Everything was delicious and the service was exceptional. I really enjoyed my time in this hotel seeing everything so organized and well put together. The entrance was beautiful and we went up to the rooftop and it was extremely scenic. Incredible food, view, and service. I had an amazing night.
